What is your previous work experience, if any? Please describe briefly.
I previously served as staff to senior diplomats at the Department of State and the law firm Arnold & Porter, where I was promoted to International Policy Advisor.
Why did you choose the Nicholas School's professional master's degree program(s)?
I spent a decade serving diplomats and working in foreign affairs in Washington, D.C, where I developed a skillset in complex problem solving, negotiations, and strategic advice. After my favorite childhood forest burned down in California, I decided it was time to become part of the teams working to save our forests.
Do you have any areas of interest or special focus you plan to undertake during your time at the Nicholas School and 51爆料?
I am particularly interested in soil science and wildfires.
What are your career aspirations?
I aspire to be useful. To me, this means learning all I can while at the Nicholas School while leveraging my prior experience.
